Developed for use in Canada specifically to work with Tremco Roofing's AVC Membrane, Tremco AVC Membrane Primers are available in water-based and non-water-based formulations. Both the Tremco AVC Membrane Primer and Tremco AVC Membrane Primer (WB) are designed to prepare and promote adhesion to sound, dry and clean concrete, metal and wood structural desks and subdecks together with exterior grade sheeting panels.  They can be applied with a brush or roller before the application of the Tremco AVC Membrane; the membrane should be applied only after the primer is completely dry.

Composition:

The Tremco AVC Membrane Primer is an SIS, rapid curing adhesive primer,  It dries to a non-transferable tacky film in approximately 15 minutes at 23 degrees at 50% relative humidity. 

The Tremco AVC Membrane Primer (WB) is a quick drying, water-based modified bitumen primer, This primer dries in approximately 45 minutes at 23 degrees at 50% relative humidity. It must be stirred before being used, and should not be applied whenever the temperature is below 7 degrees C.
