Tremfix

A Tar-Based Mastic for Year-Round Roof Repairs

Tremfix is used for general repairs on coal-tar roofs, including breaks and blisters.  Tremfix can be used effectively for emergency repairs on wet roof surfaces of both asphalt and coal-tar BUR.  This product minimizes water damage, can be used on rough surfaces, and added strength can be obtained by using reinforcing membranes.

Composition:

The asbestos-free Tremfix consists of coal tar pitch, reinforcing fibers, and plasticizers blended for year-round roof repair.  Tremfix meets ASTM D5643, the Standard Specification for Asbestos-Free Coal Tar Roof Cement.
